The Salamanca School
Jesús Baz the head of studies in Salamanca describes how 'according to tradition, Salamanca has always been characterized by its cultural atmosphere. The people who come to Salamanca remember the city for its educational institutions, its streets which are bursting with life (there are more than 50.000 young people studying at the university), its monuments (there's a reason why UNESCO named Salamanca the Guardian Angel of Humanity), its pure Castilian, its gastronomy and most especially the friendliness and hospitality of its inhabitants. In short, the city is something special. Hasta Pronto!'
